July 22, 2023 was the date of the Seventh Annual Broadwater County-Wide Yard Sale -- and it was a huge success! In addition to the hundreds of Broadwater County residents that visited the yard-sales, there were hundreds more that came from Helena, Butte, Anaconda, Bozeman and as far away as Columbus and Red Lodge!
There were at least 4 groups from our Broadwater County Amish community that came shopping the sales.

On December 3, 2022 at 7:00pm at the Reading Leaves Bookstore during the 2022 Townsend Christmas Stroll the Missouri Valley Marketing Beef Box Raffle was held. The winner of the $250 beff box was Brigid Jenkins of Townsend.

By any measure the Missouri Valley Marketing 6th Annual Yard Sale was a huge success! The day was a beautiful sunny day with a slight breeze; clear skies dominated the day.
We had over 60 yard sales registered in the county including our first ever yard sale at the south end of the County.

MVM hosted an April Wine Tasting Event on April 21, 2022 at the Lodge of Townsend. Over thirty people attended the "Tour of Organic and BioDynamic Wine" event featuring wines from a variety of regions.

Approximately 30 people attended the MVM/Preserve Broadwater History "Tour of South Africa" wine tasting event held at The Lodge of Townsend. MVM presented 6 different South African wines for tasting - including 2 kosher wines that were not barrel cured along with appetizers and great music selected by Nichole Brown. Each table had a flower arrangement centerpiece provided by Broadwater Blooms.

Missouri Valley Marketing and Badger Materials/Big B partnered to participate in the 2021 Towsend Area Chamber of Commerce Ghost Stroll. We gave out candy and chips to over 500 children that visited the gazebo!

You may have noticed the three new murals painted on the businesses in downtown Townsend. While Missouri Valley Marketing commissioned the murals, this project was a true Townsend community project!

Due to the excessive heat Sophie hasn't been able to work on the mural as much as she would like; but she continues to make extraordinary progress.
